We help organisations see how their teams really work
Immersive Edge is an Edinburgh company, founded in 2017 and formerly known as GingrTech.
Edge Experience, our family of one-day business simulations, puts teams in charge of a virtual business under real pressure, where mistakes cost nothing but teach everything. Edge Assess evaluates how candidates actually perform rather than how they interview, and Edge Academy delivers the same behavioural scenarios as self-paced learning.
Organisations use us for diagnostics, training and change management. Insight people discover for themselves is insight that sticks.
The idea it all rests on
Tim Dew founded Immersive Edge on a simple conviction: the only change that lasts is the change people arrive at themselves. Not change explained to them, or announced at them, but change they work out in the room and then own.
How better to do this than to let people experience a change in a safe simulated environment, understand the impact and what it means to them, and adapt to that change by modifying their own behaviour.
Our story
From Games Without Frontiers to Immersive Edge
Games Without Frontiers
Edinburgh entrepreneur Tim Dew founds Games Without Frontiers Limited. Trained in biochemistry, Tim had a real interest in the neuroscience of what makes people tick and learn, and had spent much of his working life inside organisations trying to create change that lasted.
GingrTech
Exploring new business avenues, the company changes its name to GingrTech.
Saying goodbye to Tim
We sadly say goodbye to our inspirational founder, Tim Dew, who passed away after a brief illness.
Immersive Edge
A year of growth and further development of the simulations brings a new name, Immersive Edge Limited, reflecting our sole focus on business simulations.
Three products, one engine
Edge Experience, Edge Assess and Edge Academy, all built on the same simulation engine, run by our own facilitators and by delivery partners in the UK and abroad.
