In 2017 Games Without Frontiers Limited was founded by Edinburgh-based entrepreneur Tim Dew. With his original training in the field of biochemistry, Tim took a real interest in the neuroscience of what makes people tick and learn effectively. He spent much of his adult life going into organizations trying to create meaningful change, and getting people to change their attitudes to what makes an organization really tick and become far more productive.

Exploring new business avenues we changed our name to GingrTech in 2021. In 2023 we sadly had to say goodbye to our inspirational founder Tim Dew, as he passed away after a brief illness. 

2024 has been a year of further growth and improvement of our simulations, resulting in a new name: Immersive Edge Limited. This name is representative of our sole focus on business simulations as a growing company worldwide. Immersive Edge empower people to understand their working worlds more deeply, with simulations rooted in science. We provide deeply engaging simulation experiences that give users a competitive advantage in the business world as a core part of learning and development programs in public and private sector organizations of all shapes and sizes across the globe. Participants gain a cutting-edge understanding of business concepts through highly immersive experiences, setting them apart from others in their field.

The simulations we design and facilitate are in a safe, fast-paced environment based on immersive experiential learning.

Participants inherit a failing business, but through fostering teamwork and communication skills, and with the guidance of our global network of expert facilitators they quickly learn how to improve processes, productivity, systems and improve their capabilities to experience success together, running an agile, profitable and culturally supportive organization.
